Another BEAUTIFUL weekend ahead, and of course that means a posting about the cupcake flavors available!
The Grand Bakery is proud to be participating in Brant County’s First Annual Small Business Trade Show for Help a Child Smile on Saturday, May 23, 2009 from 10am-4pm!
This is sure to be a great day, with 50 local small businesses all coming together to support a great cause, Help A Child Smile. Each year, the local agency sends young cancer patients and their families to fun events that allow them to enjoy time away from hospitals, needles, treatments and pain. Right now about 100 families in the Brantford area are using Help A Child Smile.
Admission is FREE and everyone who attends will be entered into the raffle draw. Every vendor has donated something (we donated a coupon good for a dozen FREE cupcakes!) so that means there will be 50 prizes to be won! ALL proceeds from this event are being donated to Help A Child Smile, as well as a portion of vendors sales. There will be entertainment as well-something for everyone! (Speaking of entertainment…I am going to be doing a demo on stage apparently! ) So bring the kids and come on out and check out some great local businesses! Map here.
I will be selling cupcakes at the Help A Child Smile event as well! Supplies will be limited, so be sure to come early for the best selection!

Dee’s opens at 8am on Saturday, and the FULL lineup will be ready then and all weekend long, while supplies last! And of course, Burford Family Market will have them on Sunday from 10am-5pm, along with super-cute delicious sugar cookies and the highly-addictive Cupcake Truffles!
Cupcakes are the PERFECT dessert for your weekend BBQ! Be sure to stop in and pick up a selection for your family gathering–and be sure to get a couple extra for your drive home!
