Its my favorite time of year! Fresh local fruits and veggies are on their way in. I simply cannot resist strawberries & rhubarb. It reminds me of being a kid again, having dinner at my grandma & grandpas, swinging on the neighbors swing..
I love heading to local farmers markets to pick up fresh field-grown rhubarb and sweet, small, local strawberries. I confess to going completely overboard on them when they are in season. By the time I have had my fill, the next fresh delicacy is on its way in.
